SPLATTER the blood of your enemies, SOAK in their blood to AWAKEN your weapons and abilities, bring directionality to your ultraviolence in ALTEREDBLOOD+, a Movement Shooter/ Platformer.
In a megastructure which has consumed the universe, Human remnants survive, addicted to her blood.
Embody her Reaper, guide humanity to extinction.
SPLATTER - Your attacks blast SAP onto surfaces behind enemies. Enemies explode into Gibs, spreading more SAP. Saturate the arena with SAP.
SOAK - Stand in their SAP or Bathe in their Gibs to awaken your weapons and abilities.
AWAKEN - Escalate the slaughter: when Awakened, your weapons gain powerful effects and unique interactions with SAP.

I tried playing this game while listening to music like robot spiders or fistfight fugue and.
oh lord it gives the game a VibE
anyway A+ work here I just want to give music recommendations to the people here.
melting barrels, 1200 rpm and iron buzzsaw by division 95
urban racer and pushing the limits by kaptain
feel alive, monster disco, serpent head, and berserker by battlejuice.
play them at max volume for the full experience.

anyway I'm going to go play this demo for the next three hours.
I love the game its perfect gave me ultrakill vibes but its very much not a copy, i think its great but could you add a linux port, you now wine isnt the best, if your using a game engine that doesnt support linux or you dont know how let me know id love to help (i might take a hot minute to respond i dont check itch.io often)
In principle, I liked the game, the most I didn’t like was that when the arena has areas where you can fall, then when you fall it’s instant death, sometimes you jump around the arena so much that you don’t realize how you fell.
Intuitive gameplay, amazing aesthetics, hot ass deer synth lady, impact frames, what else is there to say. Wishlisted, looking forward to the full release like christmas day.
please help - when i press play i just see random flickering on and off pieces of some location that flicker seemingly randomly but all of them have different view angles which they can only appear at and i don't know what's happening at all, my iris xe perfectly supports dx12 and the game doesn't lag, the pieces of environment constantly have collision so it's purely a graphics issue and not game design

played it on Steam and it was awesome.
Too bad I find it overwhelming. It was too fast for me to process and I felt my eyes burning. But in spite of those problems, I say they're "me" problems. You keep doing "you" as I play games that are my style.

Really nice game and tons of fun as well. Also like the art style as well. Considering the game art had the player using a knife, I was expecting a more melee heavy gameplay. But good game overall.

Very cool art style and gameplay! It reminds me of ultrakill, and I think you could amp the speed and chaos to an 11 because the mechanics in the demo are already quite fun!

would you be able to make one that doesent use directx 12 and instead uses a older version of directx for older system support, because the game runs but gets a fatal error it will still run for about 3 minutes after that but then the fatal error forces it to close

Great characrer design, easy to get into, fun, fast. I love this and WILL be keeping track of further versions and stuff.
This demo is absolute peak! The ULTRAKILL meets Ghostrunner vibe is incredible, and the movement feels incredibly smooth. The SPLATTER and SOAK mechanics make the ultraviolence feel so visceral and rewarding, and the Reaper’s design goes so hard
Quite a fun demo. Ultrakill influences are visible, but it feels like a very original and interesting :3

First thing I thought was ULTRAKILL?!? It's really fun tho!
Omg Ultrakill 2 just got announced! But fun aside this is an awesome game. the gamplay feels so smooth and after a short "Why the ammo?" The Ammo makes the game less "I have a gun and shot everything dead!" more to a ballet with "Now I shot. Now I stab".
The gun feels a bit powerless by just three shot that hardly instakill enemys outside of close combat Maybe just make it full-auto? Also in the room with the gun is a huge split in the room (right hand side) and with a bit parcouring you can reach it, but sadly there is a invisible wall... I think this would be a great place for a secret! (Maybe there is one and I was to dumb, then correct me please.)
The knife plays amazing and I love seeing a melee weapon working in an FPS. Although the dash range feels some what but a little bit more playing might help with this problem.
I already crave for more (and humans to kill! Maybe even red Blood with special effects?) 10/10 The Mother must grow!!!!
Jokes on me I was just bad at aiming with the gun. The gun is balanced enough.

Really nice demo, it offers so much variety to go fast already. Making use of blood for speed opens up some unique mechanics.
